BLOOM is a social project powered by Ikhaya le Themba & Africa Aweee, located in Imizamo Yethu settlement, Cape Town. Our mission is to empower women as key agents of change by creating an ecosystem that uplifts them and their families. Through skills development and job creation we empower women to realize their own vision of a future, free from hunger and poverty. While giving them training and a plattform to teach traditional Xhosa cuisine, thus encouraging them to flourish. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the project and training of our ladies.

Start with a guiding walking tour
through Imizamo Yethu township.
Learn about Xhosa culture and how to prepare a traditional dish.
Harvest veg in the Garden of Hope, for the meal that will be prepared.
Enjoy the meal with views of the Imizamo Yethu township, Hout Bay.
